An alumnus of Oakland High School and the University of California School of Pharmacy, he also served his country in the U.S. Armed Forces in Korea. He was a pharmacist.
Nubert was active in his community as a member of St. Paul Armenian Church, AGBU, TripleX, Knights of Vartan, Ararat Cemetery Board, Medical Outreach, and Armenian Technology Group.
Mr. Baker passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 22, 2010. He was 77.
He leaves behind Jeannette, his loving wife of 43 years; his adored daughter Julie; his sister Mary Vanoyan and her husband Vahak, and their daughters, Armene and Alise.
A Funeral Service was held at St. Paul Armenian Church on Friday, August 27, 2010.
