Alfred M. Addy, born in Warner, Oklahoma, was one of four children born to William (b; Texas) and Nora (b: Oklahoma) Addy.
The family moved to California in 1927, eventually settling on the Murray Land Company ranch, where his father was the manager.
Mr. Addy was retired from the US Navy. He died Thursday February 06, 1992, at the age of 70.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; a son, William of Alabama; two daughters, Judith Sumter of Santa Cruz and Vickie Ryan of Alabama; three sisters, Pauline Addy Willmirth of Fresno, Helen Addy Smith of Lemoore and Ida Addy Olson of Dos Palos; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services for Alfred M. Addy were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church.
