CLARK (REEG), ALICE CATHRYN Of Parma, MI went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the age of 85. Alice was the daughter of Leonard Mason and Pauline Margaret (Boatman) Reeg born February 6, 1929 in Parma, MI. She is survived by two sons, Gary (Patricia) Clark of Beaumont, CA, Tracy (Deborah) Clark of Hillsdale; three daughters, Sharon (Bob) Tripp of Winter Haven, FL, Robin (Ron Howard) Clark of Jackson, Tina (Ethan) Smith of Jackson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul (Georgia) Reeg, David Reeg, and Dennis (Cathi) Reeg; sister, Janet (James) Farmer; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan D. Clark; sister, Joan Farmer; sister-in-law, Marilynn Reeg. Alice was a 1947 graduate of Parma High School; she was a Michigan Seat Company retiree. Her love of horses led her to training harness horses in the 1960's, then later to riding horses for many years, completing two Michigan "Shore to Shore" rides. She was recognized as being one of the few women in the State of Michigan to train harness horses. Alice dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Parma Chapel Monday, July 14, at 12 PM; Christopher Vida officiating. Interment Chapel Cemetery. Because of her love of horses, all monetary donations may be made to the Jackson County 4-H Foundation P.O. Box 4254, Jackson, MI 49202-4254. Family will receive friends at the Chapel Sunday from 1-5 PM and Monday from 11 AM until the time of service.
