CARTER, WILMA MAY Wilma May (Harris) Carter passed away July 18, 2014 at the age of 86 at the Allegiance Hospice Home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Duane A. Carter; sister, Jennette Whitney; brother-in-law, Virgil Carter. She is survived by her children, Shirley Carter, Sharon (Reid) Barton of Marion, ln., Janice Carter, Joyce (Ron) Roberts-Truman of Jackson; grandchildren, Cody, Kayla, Carey McCullough, Luke, Lynelle, Lance Roberts; special friends, Wendy Osinski, Scott, Julie, and Michelle Krebill; sister, Ruth Mitchell of Marion, lN; brother, Bob Harris of Corbin, KY; sister-in-law, Joan Debruler, Jean Brockway of Jackson, and Jane Gumbert of Grand Rapids, MI. She was the longest living member of the Central Wesleyan Church. She loved her Lord, FAMILY and church. Visitation will be held between 4-8 PM on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Wetherby Funeral Home at 402 Wildwood Ave., Jackson, MI. A funeral service will be held at the Central Wesleyan Church at 119 N. Webster, Jackson, MI at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Wesleyan Scholarship Fund, or Allegiance Hospice Home.
