She grew beautiful flowers and a huge garden. Canned her garden & had a root celler. Grandma was an excellent cook. Her raspberry dumpling and chicken & dumpling recipes linger on. Her father had horses & she rode with excellence. Her father died of cancer in Milly & "Johnny's" home in East Iowa while she was raising her own children. Milly was his caregiver. Very intelligent women, loved Math. Strict about rules but loved all her family, very much. ASHES scattered on grave of her daughter, Virginia Ann Barr in IOWA.
