Evelyn C.E. Bartlett, 82, of Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday in Sutter Oaks Hospital, Sacramento, after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry DeBaere of Sacramento; and a sister, Ethel Moneypenny of Cedar Rapids.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Charlotte DeBaere of Sacramento, Gwen Tudor of Davis, Calif., and Richard DeBaere os San Francisco; a niece, Sharon DeWitt of Cedar Rapids; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Patricia Cherry; and three brothers, Bruce, Raymond and Kenny Cherry.
Evelyn was born Sept. 10, 1910, in Cedar Rapids to Charles and Mayme Greenwoldt Cherry, and married Wayne Bartlett there in 1942. He died in 1961. She was a secretary at Rockwell-Collins for 30 years, retiring in 1983.
The Rev. Nick Longworth will officiate.
