Alpha "Appie" Ogle was born 1832 in Sevier County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Isaac "Shucky" Ogle and Susannah Bohanon-Ogle.

Alpha Ogle married Nathaniel Wiley "Black Nat" King abt 1848 in Sevier County, Tennessee. Nathaniel was the son of William Riley King and Ellender Keller-King

Alpha and Nathaniel King had the following Children;

1. Mary Ann King
2. William Riley King
3. King
4. Nathaniel W. Y. King
5. Henry Russell King
6. Alpha "Appie" King

Alpha Ogle-King died after the birth of Alpha King in May 1860 in Sevier County, Tennessee. She is buried at Huskey Grove Cemetery, Sevier County, Tennessee
