John Wilson Deck, age 52, died August 4, 1965 in Bloomington, Illinois. He was employed with Union Insurance Company. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City until moving to Bloomington in 1963.
Mr. Deck received a law degree from the Kansas City School of Law in 1934. On June 22, 1935 high school sweethearts John Deck and Lois Davis were married at the Country Club Christian Church. They had two sons during their marriage. Lois and John had celebrated their 30th anniversary the year of his death.
Besides his wife, Mr. Deck was survived by his stepmother, who had raised him from the age of five, Mrs. H. T. Brace, a son, granddaughter and several nephews and nieces.
