Louesa Pauline Burkhart was the sixth child of thirteen children borne of the union of Coriolanus Domaris (1821-1881) and Caroline Lavinia (Goff) Burkhart (1835-1892) on her parents' donation land claim near Harrisburg, Linn County, Oregon on June 21st, 1862. She was raised on her parents' farm, attending school with her siblings, and, sadly, dying just 13 days before her 20th birthday, on June 8th, 1882, of reasons unknown to me. Her grief stricken parents, who by now had lost five of their children, mourned her death and buried her next to her brothers and sisters at Riverside Cemetery in Albany, Linn County, Oregon.
