Earl died at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born to Earl Frederick Bailey and Alice Ann Seedall Bailey, grew up in Ucon, graduated from Ucon High School, and married Vonda Lou Burtenshaw April 19, 1950, in Idaho Falls Temple. He was a farmer and truck driver all of his life. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Executive Secretary in the Elders Quorum and in various other callings. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, and he enjoyed 4-wheeling, motorcycling, gardening and being outdoors. Survivors included: daughters Pamela (Larry) Gray, Idaho Falls, Mari Lynn (Craig) Jackson, Lakeside, AZ, Marcia (Greg) Barlow, Gilbert, AZ, Gaylene (Steve) Giles, Hummelstown, PA, and Lisa (Vance) Hawkins, Orem, UT; son Bradley (Kerri) Bailey, Iona; sister Joyce (Walt) Burt, Ririe; and 37 grandchildren. Preceding were his parents, wife, brother Jay Bailey, and a granddaughter. Services held December 13, 2003, at Ucon 2nd Ward, 10854 N 41st East, Bishop Tim Solomon officiating.
