Veldon C. Archibald, 67, died at his home. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice. He was born to Chester Henry Archibald and Cleotha Vanderhoof and raised in Grace and Blackfoot. After graduating from Blackfoot High School, he continued his education at the School of Electronics in Salt Lake City. In 1960, he married Irene Johnson Archibald in Blackfoot. They raised two sons and were later divorced. In 1975, he married Francis "Patty" Hamlin. She preceded. He worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at INEL and enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and being with friends and family.

He was preceded by his parents and wife Patty. Memorial Services held Monday, June 30, 2008, at Wood Chapel of the Pines in Idaho Falls. Newel Walker officiated.
