Jeanet was born in Humptulip, WA to Phyllis and Gerald Hansen, the fourth of five children. Jeanet married Terry on December 28, 1977 and after being told children were not an option, Jeanet gave birth to twin baby girls, followed 11 months later by a son. After surviving cancer twice and outlasting the doctors six month notice by over 10 years, she passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
