Tommy "DoDa" Adkins, 68, of Sedalia, Ky died Friday May 3,2013 at his residence He was a retired employee of General Tire and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Newbern Tn. He is survived by his wife Carol Bynum Adkins of Sedalia; 2 sons Jeffery T Adkins of West Va. and Michael T. (Lisa) Adkins, sister Brenda ( James) Combs of Newbern Tn. and 4 grandchildren . He was preceded by 2 brothers Jerry and Billy Joe Adkins and his parents Clive and Mary Thomason Adkins. Services will be 2:000 p.m. Monday, May 6,2013 in the Byrn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Combs and Rev Tony Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Sunday May 5, 2013 at the Byrn Funeral Home.
