The son of Richard Bailey and Elizabeth Belcher, and husband of Nancy Clark.

Eli died suddenly, he was living adjacent to the land where this burial plot stands when he died.
The research of the Bailey family resolved with the conclusion that Eli and Nancy could have been interred at this location.
{this Eli should not be confused with the son of Richard II & Isabel, buried at Rock; or Elijah P. Bailey, son of Eli's brother Henry, buried at Tuggle cemetery}.

His daughter Mary married Henry Bailey #20538326, son of Richard II & they are buried at Rock.
