Nora Jane Carroll, age 84, of Delta, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 2, 2011 at Fulton Manor in Wauseon after an extended illness. Nora Jane was born near Delta on September 18, 1926 to the late Brice and Mary (Donovan) Vaughan. On April 27, 1946 she married Owen R. Carroll and he preceded her in death in 1984. She was a member of St. Caspar Catholic Parish in Wauseon. Nora Jane was farmer at heart and loved every minute of it. She was a longtime member of the Fulton County Soil and Water and Fulton County Farm Bureau. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her only sister, Donna Vaughan; granddaughters, Tracey Lynn Carroll and Kellie Carroll Studer. Surviving are her children, Robert (Paula) Carroll, Larry (Lorelei) Carroll; Linda (Gene) Studer and Elizabeth (Glen) Aiken; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great- grandchildren and longtime friend, Lorin Bickford.
