Laurel Gotshall Blair was the son of Roy Robert Blair (my Grandfather's brother) and Georgia Gottshall Blair. He had one sister, Betty Rose and two brothers, George "Banana George" Blair and Ira Robert Blair. His parents and "Banana George" were in the real estate business. In the 1960s, Laurel started to collect Lithophanes (see example on left side of this page). He traveled to France and other places to acquire many pieces in his collection. Upon his death, the collection was given to the City of Toledo. Laurel never married.
