Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Clawson Anson, 64, of Manila, Utah will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Manila LDS Church, Bishop Richard P. Webster officiating. Burial will be in the Manila Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be William Bingham, Blaine Bingham, Gene Briggs, Eldon Lamb, Forest Palleson and Allen Pallesen.

Mrs. Anson died Wednesday Oct. 7, at Sweetwater County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient two days. She had been a resident of Manila 54 years.

Born Sept. 6, 1906 at Annis, Idaho, she was married to Mark A. Anson Jr., June 15, 1929. He preceded his wife in death Sept. 21, 1951.

Surviving are two sons, James L. Searle of San Diego, Calif., and Thomas W. Anson, Greenwood, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. James (Jewel) Fox and Mrs. Tony (Garnet) Twitchell, both of Renton, Wash, Mrs. Howard (Calla) Bame of Manila and Mrs. Ren (Norma) Nelson of Rock Springs; 21 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Archie Lamb of Manila, Utah.
