Fred Abitz, 75, of Rt. 2, Brillion,died Saturday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after a short illness.
Funeral services win be at 2p.m. Tuesday at Peace United Church of Christ, Brillion, the Rev. Karl Koehler officiating. Burial will be in Brillion Town
Cemetery. Mr. Abitz was born March 8,1889, in the Town of Brillion, son of the late Godfried and Maria Haeglo Abitz. married Erma Gadicke April 28,1914, at Brillion and the couple farmed in Brillion township.
Survivors are the wife, two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Marcella)Boettcher. of Brillion and Mrs. Carl (Mildred) Thompson,of Beaver Dam, a brother, John of Brillion; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Three sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
