Mrs. Connie Lee Kerley Bell, 61, of Shallow River Drive, Thomasville, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Maryland on January 2, 1954, the daughter of Malvin Loyd Kerley and Betty Jane Lipe. Step daughter of Lewis Ray Fowler. She was of the Baptist faith. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Kayla Lynn Blevins; and step-mother, Gertie Hicks, step-father Lewis Ray Fowler and step-brother Bruce Fowler. She was married to John Wesley Bell who also preceded her in death. Surviving are daughters, Christy Dixon and husband Jeffrey, and Sally Jane Woody and fiancé Jonathan Davis, all of Trinity; two brothers, Malvin Kerley, Jr. of Asheville and Robert McErath of Rock Hill, SC; step-sister, Cathy B. Parker and husband Howard of Shelby, NC; step-brother, Michael Everett Boling and wife Sandra of Asheville; Step-sister Judy Mizell and husband John of Lancaster SC; four grandchildren, William King, Jr. and fiancée Laura Stokes of Trinity, Henry King and wife Twanda of Greensboro, Stephanie King of Thomasville, and Malcom Alan Blevins of Thomasville; two great grandsons, Jackson King and David Blevins; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in J. C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Dee Byrd officiating.
