Thomas Roy Alexander served as a light weapons infantryman during the Korean War. He was seriously wounded in action on January 31st, 1951 by an enemy missile. He died on February 3, 1951 as a result of his injuries.

Private Alexander was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
