Henry moved to Missouri probably with his second wife and his three sons by Virginia Shelton. [He is possibly found on the 1880 census in Dunklin County, Missouri as T. Alsep, widower, working in a Saw Mill. If this is "Tug", then his second wife, Sigger Farris, must have died by this time.] "Tug's" first wife, Virginia Shelton Alsup's father, Jesse Shelton (1804-1880), owned land and "1878 Chancery Court Case #3899" states that Virginia is deceased and that her children, James, Minnus and Jesse, are in Missouri. According to Henry's obituary, the family moved to Ellis Co., Texas in 1889. Henry is buried in Ellis Co., Tex. All three of Henry's and Virginia's sons are also buried in Texas.
