Mr. Stone Died In Bibb City
Well Known Insurance Man Passed Away After A Short Illness Yesterday
Mr. J. T. Stone died at his home No. 86 Bibb City at 3:20 o’clock yesterday afternoon after an illness of two weeks from typhoid fever. He was 50 years of age, and besides his wife, is survived by five children as follows: Thomas, Roy, Gordon, Pearl and Myrtle Stone, all of this city, two brothers, Jno. G. and W.J. Stone, and two sisters, Misses Esther Jane and Elizabeth Stone, also of Columbus.
Mr. Stone was a valued employee of the Metropolitan Insurance Company and was a good citizen and the death is deplored by all who knew him.
His remains, accompanied by his family, were taken on the noon train today to Howard, Ga., where the funeral and interment will take place.
