Jacob Allen Blum was a perfect little boy. He was seemingly healthy. Yet, for reasons unknown, he died within 24 hours of his birth. Jacob was born and died Saturday, July 12, 1997 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. Survivors include his parents, Jim and Linda of Streamwood, Illinois; his big brother, Tyler, of Streamwood; grandparents, Ed and Carol Vocks of Carol Stream, Illinois and Gene and Nadine Blum of Streamwood; great-grandmother, Ada Cole of Eagletown, Oklahoma and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
