Leon S. Anderson
CONNERVILLE - Graveside services for Leon S. Anderson, 93, of Connerville, were held Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Connerville Cemetery, Brother Peter J. Walt officiating. The son of the late Reubin and Victoria Williams Anderson, he was born Dec. 2, 1909 in Pontotoc, and died Aug. 11, 2003, in Connerville.
A graduate of Pontotoc High School and lifelong resident of Johnston County, he worked for many years as an industrial electrician for an oil refinery. He was also a rancher and a member of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel, of the home; a daughter Teresa Hart of Norman; a son, John Underwood of Noble; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were directed by Clark Funeral Service.
