Jeremy Daniel Brewer passed away on Nov. 8, 2012. Despite his short lifetime, he enjoyed life and his family and friends to the fullest. Jeremy was a Valentine's baby, born Feb. 14, 1977. He grew up in Claremore, Okla. and loved sports and the outdoors. While attending school in Claremore, he excelled at soccer, wrestling, and baseball. He attended Oologah-Talala High School his sophomore year, making new friends and spending more time "just fishing." Jeremy graduated from Claremore High School in 1995.

Jeremy's love of the outdoors was a constant in his life. The fall of the year would find him with his dad, hunting the big bucks. Spring and summer were for fishing, either tournaments or just for fun. He so loved the outdoors that he became a licensed nuisance wildlife officer for the State of Oklahoma, working for Reggie Murray. He spent many nights entertaining his family with stories of rescuing or relocating raccoons, skunks, bees, or snakes. He even surprised his sister, Catherine, with a rare tarantula in hopes that she would learn to not be afraid of them. But his greatest loves were his children, family and friends, of which he had many.

He is survived by his parents, Dan Brewer of Oologah and Cyndy Tully of Verdigris, and his stepmom Jane Brewer of Oologah; his three children, Haleigh Cheyenne Brewer, 13, and Austin Daniel Brewer, 11, of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Jaycie Mae Brewer, 6, of Glenpool, Okla.; and his sisters, Janessa Langdon of Erie, PA and Catherine Brewer of Oologah. He was the grandson of Curtis and Edna Brewer of Oologah, and Hap and Ruby Thomas of Claremore. And he was the loving master to his constant companion, Sable.

A Memorial Service honoring Jeremy will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 12 noon at the Liberty Baptist Church on Highway 169. Flowers may be sent to Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home in Collinsville, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diamond B Safety Search and Recovery Fund. These funds will be used to purchase state-of-the-art sonar imaging equipment utilized in the recovery of drowning victims. This equipment will be donated to the Oklahoma Lake Patrol and the Northwest Rogers County Fire and Rescue.
