Jack T Boyer, 89, retired barber, formerly of Tulsa, passed away peacefully at Lee's Summit Hospital in Missouri.
He was the owner and operator of Jack's Barber Shop and enjoyed his 53 years as a Tulsa Barber. He leaves behind many good friends and customers.
He was a member of Winnetka Heights Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and served as division director for the Senior Adults group for 9 years.
Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Allie and their 3 children, Robert Boyer, LuAnn Callahan and Gary Boyer.
Survivors include his loving wife whom he married in 1988, Helen of the home; a brother, D.B. Boyer of Tulsa; 2 stepsons, Jimmy Rhoades and his wife and family of Lufkin, TX and Phillip Rhoades and his wife and 2 daughters of Lee's Summit, MO, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was dearly loved by his famiy and friends and will be truly missed, but never forgotten. Jack was an inspiration to all who knew him and was truly a servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation - 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 6th, at Moore's Southlawn Chapel with funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 7 at Winnetka Heights Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
