Alvey N. Erickson was born August 4, 1911 in Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois, the son of Charles Edward and Alma Louise Ihlenfeldt Erickson. He passed away April 28, 1998 at his home in Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois at the age of 86.
Alvey was retired from Sangamo Electric. He had served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the Elks Lodge 158 and VFW Post 755.
He married Mary F. Mathes on January 11, 1941. She died in 1987.
Alvey is survived by a niece and four nephews. He will be missed by his family and friends.
