Julia Louise Acton, 83, of Fayette died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at Fayette Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at the Nashville Baptist Church near Ashland with the Rev. Verlyn Bergen officiating. Burial will be in Nashville Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette and from 1 p.m. to time of services Monday at the church.
Mrs. Acton was born Sept. 25, 1918, in McBaine to John Franklin and Sarah Dunn Burnett.
She married William Kenneth Acton on Jan. 15, 1936, in Boone County, and he preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and an employee of the National Garment Co. in Fayette.
Survivors include four sons, Franklin Acton of Mundelein, Ill.; Charles Acton of Melbourne, Fla.; Joseph Acton of Branson and William Acton of Fayette; three daughters, Sarah Leona Jones of Fayette, Mary Gibson of Boonville and Lozetta Acton of Fayette; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two grandchildren.
