Mrs. Ellen Altemus, 71 years old, of 709 West Wilkes-Barre St., widow of George Altemus, died at midnight Saturday at Easton Hospital where she was admitted last Thursday for medical treatment. Mrs. Altemus was a native of Easton and was a daughter of the late Frank and Amanda Ackerman Rinker.

She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Reformed Church.

According to PA DC#67545, Ellen Altemus died July 5, 1941.
Her father was listed as Frank Rinker and her mother was listed as Amanda Bartholemew.
The informant was listed as John Altemus of 709 Wilkes Barre St. which I suppose to be her brother.
