June was a home maker all her life; she loved her family and friends and helping people was her mission in life; after the death of her only son Gene, his son was the comfort that she needed to make it through; she was truly the inspiration of this family; she enjoyed collecting redbirds and had hundreds in her collection.
June Adams is survived by her grandson, Charles Hodges and wife Terry, of St. James, MO; great-grandchildren, Justin and Christy Hodges; great-great-grandson, Cameron Tennyson; great-great-granddaughter, Sparkle Story; a host of extended family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Elbie Hickman and Austin Adams; son, Gene Hodges; sister, Irene Nabor; brothers, Charles, Arnold and Merle Hodges.
