McINTYRE, Charles, 86, of Holiday, Fla. died Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs, Fla. He was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. and came here from Niagara Falls, N.Y. in 1980 He was a retired industrial pipefitter and area mechanic, working for Dupont for 35 years and other industries in the Niagara Falls, N.Y. area. He was an Army veteran of World War II, 82nd Airborne, 505th Parachute Infantry, Recipient of two Purple Hearts and the Silver Star Medal. His memberships included First Methodist Church, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Parkinson's Support Group, New Port Richey; Former Member of the Elks Lodge #346, Niagara Falls, N.Y. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Gerber McIntyre of Holiday; sons,Tom (Cindy) McIntyre of Ossining, N.Y., Mike McIntyre of Niagara Falls, N.Y.;sister-in-law, Violet Mime McIntyre Niagara Falls, N.Y.; granddaughter, Savannah McIntyre of Ossining, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fay and Emma (Hicks) McIntyre; brothers, Earl and Dudley McIntyre. A memorial service will be Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. at Dobies Funeral Home.
