Mary A. Gavason Bidelspach, 79, of Corinth, TX, after a courageous battle with Leukemia, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, September 29, 2013. During her six month journey, Mary Ann touched the hearts of many and fought the fight without one complaint. Born on May 26, 1934 in Northumberland, PA, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Gavason. She was a 1952 graduate of CW Rice High School. After graduation, Mary Ann spent one year living in Washington, DC working for the FBI. It was at this time, that Mary Ann's heart was taken by Fran Bidelspach. They were married on October 23, 1954 and would have celebrated 59 years of marriage this October. Mary Ann worked in several sales positions over the years, including Kleffels Clothing Store, Shearers Florist and Utz Potato Chips. Mary Ann was also partner with her husband at Bair's Chicken in the local farmer markets. Mary Ann's most important job in her life was raising her five beautiful children. Mary Ann is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by brothers Ted and John Gavason. She is survived by three brothers and one sister.
