He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Leon was employed by General Electric for 20 years retiring in 1988. A resident of Lewisville for 42 years, he was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Barbara, and his five children; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother.
Happiest when the family was together, Leon will be remembered by all who knew him for his sense of humor, his kindness, his compassion, and his gentle soul.
