George Lee Adams ,79, of Schlater, MS died Mon, December 31, 2012 at Montfort Jones Hospital in Kosciusko, MS. Visitation was 1pm Fri, Jan 4, 2013 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home and services were at 2pm in the Wilson & Knight Chapel. Burial was in McNutt Cemetery in Schlater.
Mr. Adams was born July 17, 1933 to Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Adams. He attended Schlater Consolidated High School and joined the US Air Force where he continued his education. Mr. Adams enjoyed visiting with friends, reading, working crossword puzzles and listening to country music. He was devoted took care of his mother until her death in 1994. He was also preceded in death by his father and a sister Shirley Wright.
He is survived by his daughter Brenda Lee Landis of Bloomsberg, PA. Two sisters Alice Morgan of Cleveland, MS and Lenora Griffin of Indianola, MS , his brother Jackie Adams of Applegate, OR and two grandchildren.
