Mr. Peter Agostinelli, Jr., 82, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. The Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 9:00 am - 10:30 am followed by the service at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Agostinelli was the owner of Sandy Ridge Farms of Clarksdale & Lyon, MS. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and served as Proclaimer. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Air Force from 1952-1956. He was a member of the VFW; the Local and District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus and coach of the Knights of Columbus men's softball team. Mr. Agostinelli graduated from Jonestown High School, was elected Mr. Jonestown High and lettered in Baseball, Football and Basketball.
Mr. Agostinelli is survived by his wife and family. He was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Viola Agostinelli, his sister Margaret Lipsey, his brother-in-law Bryant Lipsey and his brother Robert Agostinelli.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church or St. Elizabeth School.
