Survivors include his wife, Alicia DelaPaz Cantu of San Antonio; a daughter, Yolanda Lenor Sierra of San Antonio; four sisters, Ninfa Ruiz, Ernestina Hadley and Louisa Cano, all of Tomball, and Josefina Cantu of Refugio; six brothers, Ruben Cantu of Orange Grove, Joe and Angel Cantu, both of Corpus Christi, and David, Mario and Henry Cantu, all of Tomball; and three grandchildren. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. April 25 at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Refugio.
