Mr. Albert A. Freyler, age 83 of Utica, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital Center.
He was born in Utica, a son of the late Herbert and Elsa Klaus Freyler and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School. He also graduated from Indiana Tech University with a BA degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Albert resided in Englewood, CA for several years, but always made this area his home. He was employed for several years with the General Electric Co. as an Engineer, and also continued a second career as a Correction Officer with the State of New York. He retired in 2007 after 25 years of dedicated service. He served his country in the U.S. Army and also in the New York National Guard.
Surviving are his dear friends David and Tricia Caruso and family of Utica.
