The son of Willie and Amanda (Creech) Davis.

Husband of Clara Ruth (Oddy) Davis, married December 27, 1948.

Father of Paul Michael Davis and Karen Sue (Davis) White; grandfather of Brandon and Kim; great grandfather of Cole and Jessie.

Brother of: Grace (Davis) Cooper, Everett, Earl, Joseph, John, James, Wayne and Harold Davis.

Funeral service held Monday, July 23, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Christian Memorial Cemetery. Officiating; Reverend Jeffery Regan, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Rochester, Michigan.

Herbert was a Marine Veteran having waded ashore at Guadalcanal during World War II.
