Mrs. Edna Stamper Coomer, 92, of Beattyville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 8, 1990. Born May 19, 1897, she was the daughter of Jesse Stamper and Mary Gumm and the widow of Arthur Coomer. Mrs. Coomer was a member of the Church of God.

Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Beulah) Palmer, Frankfort, Kentucky; Mrs. Edgar (Ruth) Bowman, Beattyville, Kentucky; Mrs. Howell (Betty) Brandenburg, Beattyville, Kentucky; one son, Willis Coomer, Frankfort, Kentucky; one half sister, Mrs. Marie Cockerham, Louisville, Kentucky;24 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 26 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 11, 1990 at 2:00 p.m. in the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Herman Fenning officiating. Burial followed in the McIntosh Cemetery, Zachariah Road with the Newnam Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
