Her son, Andy and I were married in 1977. In June, 1977, I found out that I was pregnant. She was so excited when she found out that Andy and I were going to have a child. She spoiled him shamelessly (as grandmothers do), and played constantly with him. I'm glad they had such a close relationship.
Mom passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack, which was brought on by uncontrolled diabetes, the day after her son Andy's birthday. The last words he said to her were "I love you, Mom."
