Max Lynden Adamson Sr., 74 of King Hill, has gone to his heavenly home. Max is now whole and free from the long battle of cancer. Max passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012, at a Mountain Home care center.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012, at Glenn Rest Cemetery.
Max was born to Roxford Winfield and Mary Bell (Howard) Adamson in Wilder just across the bridge from Homedale, Idaho, in a little white house, living and schooling in Homedale all his younger life.
From his first marriage was born Gary, Larry and Cindy. They divorced, then Max and Jeannie (Heath) met March 1959 and married two years later. From this marriage was born Max Jr., Mary, Myron and Michael.
Max learned from his pop/dad to love, train and care for horses. He worked on ranches and had a dude ranch in Sutro, Nev. He worked road construction and drove 18 wheelers for Fellers Trucking with his own truck for Kit Camper Manufacturing.
Max loved hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends.
Max and Jeannie bought a home in King Hill 25 years ago, traveling to and from Dayton, Nev. Living in Homedale and Glenns Ferry during these times, through the years Max and Jeannie celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in December of 2010.
Max is survived by his wife, Jeannie; his children Gary Lyn Adamson, Larry Dean Adamson, Cindy Ann Adamson, Max Lynden Adamson Jr., Mary Bell Remington, Myron Kyle Adamson; his three brothers, Homer, Carl and Bud; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roxford.
