Dorothy Ann Gaupp, 81, Kansas City, Kan., died Jan. 18, 1993, at Bethany Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Kansas City, Kan.; entombment in the Mount Calvary Cemetery mausoleum, Kansas City, Kan. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Butler Chapel, 6300 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., where the rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Mrs. Gaupp was a lifelong Kansas City, Kan., resident. she was a member of the Kansas City, Kan., Democratic Club. she was a member of the church and its Go Getters Senior Citizens Club. survivors include her husband, William R. Gaupp Sr. of the home; five sons, Richard C. Gaupp, William R. Gaupp, Gary M. Gaupp, John S. Gaupp and Eugene L. Gaupp of Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Shirley Root, Shawnee; a brother, Lawrence Mihelic, Spring Hill in Johnson county; a sister, Rose Kovich, Kansas City, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
