Double Funeral Saturday
Gerald Ray Hill was born July 27, 1925, at Smithville, Mo. He came to Leavenworth with his parents in 1937 from Greenwood, Mo. He was a member of the 1943 graduating class at Leavenworth Senior high school.
The young man enlisted for service in the Air Corps at Fort Leavenworth on May 20, 1943. He was separated from service as a second lieutenant April 14, 1945. Since becoming an employee at the Kramer Company, he had made his home with a brother, Charles Hill, 910 Shawnee street. He was not married.
Both bodies were taken from the accident scene to the Davis funeral church.
Double funeral services will be held at the funeral church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Chaplain F. R. Beery of Wadsworth will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Muncie cemetery. The bodies will remain at the funeral church until taken to the cemetery.
