Herman J. Fink
Herman J. Fink, 74, 320 N. 17th., died Saturday. He was born Feb. 24, 1897 at Lowemont a son of Peter and Mary Weisinger Fink.
He was married to Bertha E. Schrick Jan. 27, 1919.
He was a veteran of World War I and spent his lifetime farming in the Lowemont and Springdale areas. He retired in 1965.
He was a member of Barracks 1 of World War I veterans and the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
Survivors include his widow of the home; two daughter, Miss Mildren I Fink, Kansas City, Mo., and Miss Rita M. Fink of the home, four sons, William H. Fink, Lakeview and Eisenhower Road, Herman E. Fink and Leonard B. Fink, both of San Bernardino, Calif. and Raphael E. Fink, Kearney, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs Anna Bott, RR 1, and Mrs. Mary Forge, RR 4, five brothers, Peter Fink, RR 4; Louis Fink, 122 South 16th; George fink, RR 1; Henry Fink, 1119 Metropolitan, and Joseph Fink, Easton; ten grand-children and three great-grand-children.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception with burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Sumpter Funeral Chapel by the Daughter of Isabella and at 8 p.m. by friends and members of the parish. The body is at Sumpter.
