Mary June Ehart

Mary “June” Ehart, 73, Leavenworth, Kan., passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Leavenworth.


She was born May 14, 1941 in Leavenworth the daughter of Ernest L. and Luvada (Guy) Wolfe. They preceded her in death.


In 1963 she married Marty Ehart, Jr and for the 29 years that followed she loved being a full-time homemaker. Marty passed away in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law Barbara (Rex) Williams.


In 1997 she met and fell in love with David L. Conrad who survives at the home. She is also survived by two step-children and their families, Echo Fairbanks and children Orion, Rachel and J.J., Nathan (Danielle) Conrad and children, Mikayla, Brooke and N.D.; three sisters-in-law and their children, Dorothy (Freddie) Thomas, Becky (Ed) Ingerson and Amy (Sean) Hancock plus many dear friends who, in June’s words, “stood by me in spite of myself”.


Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, Kan. Memorial contributions may be given to the Leavenworth Assistance Center.
