MARY L. Arnould, 711 Hennepin avenue, Dixon, passed away at the KSB hospital Monday morning at 11 o'clock, following a long illness. She was born in China township, Feb. 26, 1865. She is survived by two daughters Mrs. Lawrence Daily of Dixon and Mrs. Ray M. Tubbs of Amboy; two sons, Ray A. Arnould and Vincent E. Arnould of Dixon. Three brothers and two sisters survive; John Kelley of Franklin Grove, Charles of Rockford, Peter of Ashton, Mrs. Katherine Utz, Dixon and Mrs. Anna Russell, Oakland, Calif. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at the Jones funeral home and at 9:30 at St. Patrick's Catholic church, the Rev. Walter Roberts officiating, and interment will be in Oakwood cemetery. (Dixon Evening Telegraph Jan. 6, 1948)
