EDWARD BLAISSE ARNOULD a long time resident of this city, died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Coe of Springfield, where in company with Mrs. Arnould he had gone early in May. Funeral services were held yesterday morning at the Presbyterian church with Rev. Young, pastor of the Dixon Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial was made in the Ashton cemetery. Edward Blaisse Arnould was born in Alsace Lorainne, France, on November 22, 1863. At the age of 7 he came with his parents to the US, settling in Bradford Twp. Later moving to Ashton. On October 19, 1886 he was united in marriage with Caroline Gilbert. Their entire married life has been spent in Ashton. Here their two children were born, Eva A. and Charles E., who preceded him in death on November 17, 1932. He was a member of the Ashton Presbyterian church and attended services whenever his health permitted. He leaves to mourn his death, his widow, a daughter, two grandchildren and one brother, Vincent of Dixon.
