Rosemary Argiro, 90, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday (Aug. 28, 2016) at Fazio's Eldercare in Monongah.

She was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Fairmont, daughter of the late Frank and Teresa (Yerace) Argiro.

She is survived by her sister; one niece; and two great-nephews that "Mimi" adored.

Rosemary enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Fairmont and a former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

She graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1943 and was a graduate of Fairmont Business College. She began her career as a bookkeeper/accountant for Henry and Hardesty Insurance Agency and retired from Acordia Insurance in 1991. Rosemary spent the last 4 1/2 years at Fazio's Eldercare where she was fortunate to have many exceptional and loving care-givers.

The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. today at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont followed by a procession to St. Anthony Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:30 a.m. with Father S.A. Arokiadass as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemary's name to Amedysis Hospice Care, 67 Casino Drive, Suite 102, Anmoore, WV 26323.
