Wilma Faye Adams, 85, of Jasper, Texas died January 9, 1998 at Lakes Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on January 11 at the First Baptist Church in Jasper with interment following at the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville. A native of Chester, she attended school in Corrigan and went to college at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches. A member on the Board of Directors at the Kirbyville State Bank until retiring she moved to Jasper from Kirbyville 37 years ago. Survivors include her husband F.P. "Pat" Adams, Jr. of Jasper; niece Carol Ann Phillips of Woodville; nephews, Dug Bennett and Dr. Larry Phillips of Woodville, Don Adams of Austin, Pat Adams Strong of Franklin, LA. Capt. Walter Strong of Sulphur, LA, John Matthews of Jasper. Services under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper
