Alexandra Maybri Anderson, 13, of Ashland passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Lake Regional Hospital at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Columbia, with burial following at Liberty Cemetery in Ashland. A reception will follow the burial at the Southern Boone County High School Commons. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m., on Monday, July 9, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Alexandra was born Oct. 6, 1998, the daughter of Brian and Angela. Alexandra was a student at Southern Boone County schools in Ashland. She was on the honor roll, student council and the yearbook club. Alexandra loved cross country, track and playing basketball for the Southern Boone County Eagles and YMCA SWARM. She was a social young lady and cherished spending time with her friends. Swimming and boating were also passions shared with her family. Alexandra was a member of the Englewood 4-H Club, in which she excelled at horsemanship, being awarded many ribbons at county events. Her horses, Hebe and Flo, were very dear to her heart.

Alexandra was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Columbia, where she was baptized and received her first communion. God has taken her home, where she is an angel resting in His arms in everlasting peace.

Survivors include her parents, Brian and Angela, and one brother, Garrett, all of Ashland; her maternal grandparents, Mary Jane of St. Charles and Gary and Susan of Lentner; paternal grandmother Freda of Hamilton; maternal great-grandmother Velma Jo of Quincy, Ill.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alexandra was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mayo J. Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Boone County National Bank Scholarship Fund in care of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Robinson Funeral Home in Ashland.
